Since 2010, the lectorate of Financial Economical Innovation is part of the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. It is focused on new digital revenue models in practice. In this digital context, the everchanging role is analyzed of accountants, controllers, and financial advisors as result of digital information provision like algorithms and the role of data. Lines of research are: Changing information systems, proper SME management, optimalization of financing and sustainable growth. The research is mainly focused around medium and small enterprises.
